David Yalof and Ken Dautrich organized this University of Connecticut research on high school understanding and appreciation for the First Amendment that is showcased on this web site. A two-year, $1 million project sponsored by the Knight Foundation resulted in interviews with more than 100,000 high school students, nearly 8,000 teachers and more than 500 school administrators and principals at 544 schools nationwide.
